WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF EXCESSIVE BLEEDING
If you experience excessive bleeding after periodontal surgery, you need to apply pressure to the site. Fold a piece of gauze or a soaked teabag and apply it to your gum and close your mouth keeping the gauze or teabag in place for 20-30 minutes. If still bleeding, please repeat this two more times. If you are unable to stop the bleeding then you should call Dr. Singletary as soon as possible.
